Navigating your disputes.
We represent our clients before all Swiss courts. We have particular experience in representing clients before the Commercial Court of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Supreme Court. We support you in all areas of contentious commercial and business law. We have special expertise in commodities trading, aviation, technology and IT cases (including data protection), M&A disputes and real estate matters. Our areas of expertise also include shareholder disputes arising from shareholders' agreements and directors' liability litigation. Our team has an international background and understands the tactical aspects of cross-border cases.
We represent our clients in arbitration proceedings under all common institutional rules (Swiss Rules, ICC Rules, DIS Rules, LCIA Rules, Aerosuisse Rules). We also assist foreign law firms in arbitration proceedings and act as their Swiss co-counsel. We furthermore act as arbitrators.
We support our clients in avoiding disputes through advising them in contract negotiations and identifying litigation risks. In the event of a dispute, we help our clients by providing an early case assessment and cost/risk analysis. Together with our clients, we examine the prospects of success and the anticipated costs and determine the right strategy. Our team understands that a dispute may disrupt the business activities of your company. We factor this into our advice so you can get back to what you do best: Moving your business forward.
Administrative & Criminal Proceedings
We represent our clients in proceedings before administrative authorities and administrative courts in the fields of energy, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, health, financial markets and data protection. In white collar criminal law cases, we advise and represent claimants and complainants, in particular in connection with fraud and money laundering.
We support creditors and debtors in debt collection, bankruptcy and estate proceedings. We have particular experience in the enforcement of (foreign) judgments and arbitral awards. In addition, we represent creditors in insolvency proceedings and foreign insolvency administrators in debt collection in Switzerland. We guide companies in strained financial circumstances through out-of-court and judicial restructuring.
These are just a few examples of our work in Dispute Management. If your case is different, let us know and we will be happy to help you.
