Alain's vision as co-founder and his motiviation in his daily work are the same: to help companies discover legal opportunities, develop business strategies at the crossroads between business, technology and law and support his customers in achieving the unexpected.
As a lawyer and notary, Alain specializes mainly in Growth Companies and the Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors and also advised on tax issues relating to transactions. With an MBA from the London Business School, Alain works hand in hand with his customers. Alain is always looking for practical and scalable solutions without unnecessary compliance with the status quo.
Alain also acts as an external legal advisor to international companies based in Switzerland and is secretary to the board of directors of two Swiss transportation companies.
Prior to the founding of Lex Futura, Alain ran his own law firm specializing in Venture Capital, M&A and Real Estate as well as tax law. He was a legal and management consultant in many start-up financing rounds, supported several real estate transactions and represented clients before state courts in contractual, corporate and construction law disputes. He also advised on tax issues.
Alain began his career as an Associate in the Corporate and Real Estate Group of CMS von Erlach Poncet AG, a global law firm with 74 offices worldwide. In this function he advised companies on M&A and real estate transactions and was involved in litigation. Previously he worked as Junior Legal Counsel for Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia).
Alain is also a university lecturer and an enthusiastic endurance athlete who has participated in the Ironman Hawaii.
