Emanuel Grünig

Junior Associate

Emanuel is a junior associate at Lex Futura and is currently completing his Master of Law at the University of Lucerne. As a working student and future trainee lawyer, he is able to apply the acquired knowledge from the university directly in the professional environment and thus can prepare himself in the best possible way for the bar exam.

Previously, Emanuel worked in the banking sector beside his studies: He was a client advisor assistant in the wealth management department. Later on, he changed to the compliance department with the focus on investor protection.

Before going to the University of Lucerne, Emanuel completed his bachelor at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and successfully graduated with the Bachelor of Science ZFH in Business Law in 2020. His focus was on corporate law.

Emanuel rendered his military service in the Swiss Army Central Band, the representative orchestra of the Swiss Army. In addition to his function as a clarinetist, he continues to serve in a secondary function as a military judge at Military Court 2.

Emanuel was able to pursue his enthusiasm for languages from an early age: He grew up in a village near Fribourg, directly in the "Röstigraben". After a bilingual Baccalaureate (French/German) and a language stay in England, he even learned some Chinese characters during his semester abroad in Taiwan. Now, however, the focus is on Spanish.

In his free time, Emanuel plays the clarinet and enjoys outdoor activities, be it hiking in the mountains, cycling or jogging.
