Joëlle is a Junior Associate at Lex Futura and graduated from the University of Lucerne in August 2021 with the profile „Competition and Regulation“ after spending her last semester at the University of Copenhagen. She grew up in France and Germany and has spent time abroad in Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Denmark.
She is particularly interested in business law issues - especially with an international focus. During her studies she played an active role in university associations such as the Model United Nations and the European Law Students' Association (ELSA). Furthermore, she participated in numerous international conferences and summer schools, where she acquired additional knowledge on topics such as IT law, Intellectual Property law and international investments.
In 2019 she was part of the organizing committee of the "Summer ELSA Law School on Arbitration" in Geneva, where she worked with experts in the field of arbitration. Additionally, she served as national president of ELSA Switzerland and was part of the international team of ELSA, the world’s largest law students’ association.
At the world-renowned John H. Jackson Moot Court on WTO Law 2019/2020, Joëlle reached the semi-finals of the regional round in Kiev and was awarded "Best Oralist in the Preliminary Rounds" for her outstanding oral performance in representing the various parties.
In her free time, Joëlle enjoys going outdoors, skiing, cooking and is a passionate music enthusiast.
