Joëlle is a Junior Associate at Lex Futura and is studying law for her Master's degree at the University of Lucerne. She grew up in France and Germany and has spent time abroad in Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica.
She is particularly interested in commercial law issues - especially with an international focus. During her studies she was engaged in university associations such as the Model United Nations and the European Law Students' Association (ELSA). Furthermore, she participated in numerous international conferences and summer schools, where she acquired additional knowledge on topics such as IT law, intellectual property law and international investments.
In 2019 she was part of the organizing committee of the "Summer ELSA Law School on Arbitration" in Geneva, where she worked with experts in the field of arbitration. She is currently serving as national president of ELSA Switzerland.
At the world-renowned John H. Jackson Moot Court on WTO Law 2019/2020, Joëlle reached the semi-finals of the regional round in Kiev and was awarded "Best Oralist in the Preliminary Rounds" for their outstanding oral performance in representing the various parties.
In her free time, Joëlle enjoys going outdoors, skiing, cooking and is a passionate music enthusiast.
